01. Functions:
- Support academic activities of in house academics and outside experts by Providing information sources for the development of learning material.
- Support reference and information needs of post graduate, research students and students of job oriented and agriculture Programmes of YCMOU by creating appropriate facility at headquarters.
- Provide documents and comprehensive reference and information services in the area of Open and Distance Education for other distance education institute in the state.
- Provide assistance to co-ordinators of LIS Programmes of the University.

04. EBSCO Database Service:
University Library has made available EBSCO international database service to all the Students on its website. The students can avail this facility via e- suvidha account.
EBSCO database covers about 4500 journals full text articles and abstract in various disciplines. Most of the journals are peer-reviewed. the academic search premier database also covers the back volumes of journals.
05. Delnet Database Service:
The University has made available Delnet services to the members of the library. User can have access to the various services offered by Delnet, especially Inter Library Loan (ILL) services.
06. UGC-Infonet Consortia:
Inflibnet ,the Inter University Centre of UGC has made available the UGC-Infonet, Digital Library Consortia, provides current content as well as archival access to more than 5000 core and peer-reviewed electronic journals. These e-resources covers almost all the subjects. Inflibnet centre has also initiated Inter Library Loan (ILL) through JCCC and this facility is available for our users.
07. Yashwantrao Chavan Collection:
University Library has maintained special collection on Yashwantrao Chavan. The collection includes books written by Yashwantrao Chavan as well at the books written on him. The collection covers Books, Annuals, Press Clippings, and Photographs etc.
