The School of Rural Development and Entrepreneurship has been established with the objective of providing education, skills, and employment opportunities to the youth. In today’s rapidly changing times, competition has increased tremendously in the areas of employment, self-employment, and entrepreneurship. Considering the diverse needs, challenges, and opportunities of youth from both rural and urban areas, the School strives to design suitable academic programs, training, and guidance.

The School aligns with the policies of the Department of Skill Development,  Employment, and  Entrepreneurship, Government of Maharashtra, and actively contributes to the “Skill India Mission.” Our vision is not limited to awarding degrees alone; instead, we aim to impart skill-based, employment-oriented, and entrepreneurship-driven education.

The School provides learners with opportunities for employment, tools for entrepreneurship,and guidance for innovation. By collaborating with local industries, government bodies, and community organizations, the School ensures experiential, practice-oriented learning.Rural development is not confined to agriculture or industry alone; it encompasses education, health, sanitation, social participation, and entrepreneurship. The School integrates all these dimensions to prepare learners for social transformation. 
Our prime goal is to make the youth of Maharashtra employable, self-reliant, and globally competitive. We firmly believe that true progress of society is possible only through education combined with skill development.
