National Librarians Day

On the occasion of 130th Birth Anniversary of Dr. S.R.Ranganathan, the YCMOU Library celebrated ‘Librarians Day’ on 12th August 2022. The Registrar of the University, Prof. Prakash Deshmukh and CIQA Director, Prof. Hemant Rajguru were present as Chief Guest of the function. The Head of Library and Resource Center (LARC), Dr. Madhukar Shewale explained the importance of the day and various activities undertaken. The Registrar, Prof. Prakash Deshmukh highlighted on library its relevance with  philosophy of Dr. Ranganathan. Prof. Hemant Rajguru hightlited the importance of Library in every educational organization. The exhibition on the theme “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” was also organized by Library and Resource Centre. The teachers of the Schools, the officers and staff were present for the function. Dr. Prakash Barve, Deputy Librarian proposed vote of Thanks.
