The Registration Section is an important section in the Student Services Division. Once the advertisement about admissions to various programmes is published, the learners’ choose the educational programme which is best suited to their academic needs. They having chosen the programme, either personally or through phone contact the registration and inquire about further admission procedure. From that point, the staff members of the Registration Section interact with learners. The University has computerized all its procedures from registration to evaluation and it has enabled learners to reduce time required to get registered for a particular programme. The Registration Section is continuously in contact with the Regional Centres and the Study Centres/Learner Support Centres with the purpose of helping learners in their registration process through the University portal. In order to provide them more information and simplify the process, they publish on the website additional instructions to help them register for the programme without any problem. The Registration Section deals with learners’ issues in connection with their eligibility and guide them to which programme they can take admission, Study Centre/Learner Support Centre selection and complete the process.
