Genesis, Vision and Mission
Genesis :
In pursuance with, the University Grants Commission’s Notification No. F-1-1/2020 (DEB)-1, Dated: 4 th. September-2020 of Open & Distance Learning Programs & Online Education Programs Regulation -2020, the Center for Internal Quality Assurance (CIQA) is established in Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik with effect from 15.09.2020.
The Objective of CIQA Center is to develop comprehensive Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) in university to enhance quality of Open & Distance Learning through the following roles & responsibilities:
1. To develop comprehensive Internal Quality Assurance System in consistent with UGC-ODL Regulation-2020.
2. To develop a mechanism to obtain feedback from all stake holders like Learners, Teachers, Parents, Employers & Government, for quality improvement.
3. To organize Trainings, Workshops & Seminars for training & development and ensure participation of all stake holders.
4. To prepare Annual Action Plan (AAP), CIQA Annual Report and publish Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) by the end of each year.
5. To approve Program Proposal Form (PPF), Program Development Form (PDF) & Program Project Report (PPR) of all academic programs in consistent with Rules, Regulations & Standard Practices in ODL System.
6. To Act as a Nodal Coordination Unit and submit all mandatory information to UGC & NAAC for seeking NAAC Assessment & Accreditation.
Vision :
To Promote & Sustain Quality of Open & Distance Learning in Open University System.
Mission :
1. To undertake process of Institutional External Assessment & Accreditation.
2. To undertake training for continuous enhancement in Teaching, Learning & Evaluation.
3. To arrange for internal assessment & feedback from the Partner institutions in Open & Distance Learning.
